I offer one-on-one consultation and coaching services for licensed clinicians (LMHC, LICSW, & LMFT) for beginning and building your own private practice in mental health.
I have created a workbook to take you through each part of your new journey from getting on insurance panels to submitting your first claim, and everything in between! This service is set up as a do-it-yourself, hands-on experience. You are part of every step of the process. Meetings are between 1 and 2 hours long. If you are just beginning your practice, sessions are between 1 and 3 months apart, depending on where you are in the process. After the first meeting, if you find that setting up a private practice is not for you, that is okay. You do not have to continue with the other meetings, and you can discontinue at any time.
There are 3 consultation meeting. In each meeting we will review the section of the workbook that corresponds to the meeting. For example, first meeting, first section, and so on. We will also go over any questions you might have. After you have gone home and worked on completing the tasks in that first section, contact me and we can make another appointment to go over the next section. I am also available for e-mails or phone consultations between meetings, free of charge, should you run into an issue we did not cover during our our session. If you would like further support, or would like to review certain aspect, we can meet more than 3 times. Please see the 'Beginning a practice' worksheet. to help get you thinking about the process before we meet.
My hope is that after our first meeting, you feel empowered and excited about your new professional endeavor!
Already in private practice?
If you have already begun your practice, but feel as if you continue to need support in some areas, I would be happy to talk with you and see if the information I have put together can be of assistance. One of the most common issues in running a practice is organization. I am able to help with that as well. Please review these 'Already in practice' worksheet To help us use our time most efficiently when we met.
